To understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the medically underserved, low-income residents of York County.
OUR VISION
May we have eyes to see those who are invisible and excluded, open arms and hearts to reach out and include them, and healing hands to touch their lives with love, and in the process, heal ourselves.
OUR PURPOSE
Palmetto Volunteers In Medicine Clinic is to serve the health and wellness needs of medically uninsured, indigent residents of York County in a not-for-profit free medical clinic. The typical patient for PVIM clinic services will be employed, have children, and make hourly wages in the $10 - $14 per hour range. The majority of patients will be between the age of 19 - 64 years of age.
