Palmetto Volunteers In Medicine, York County’s Free Medical Clinic
Started in 2008 the free medical clinic now serves over 6,000 patient visits projected in 2011, with a staff of two paid health professionals, two paid staff members and 40 volunteer MD’s, nurses and lab techs. over 20 lay volunteers help in screening and in greeting patients.
